This USB IrDA adapter allows you to establish a wireless gateway for a desktop or laptop PC to transfer data via its USB port, to and from a portable device, i.e. cellular phone, PDA, digital camera, or laptop PC, providing the portable device has the same IrDA capability. This adapter is small in size, only about 50 x 18 x 10mm, and the data transfer rate is up to 4Mb/Sec with effective distance of about 1 meter range.
